The short version.

Velvet Send lets you design an invitation, open a page for your gathering, and send the card to your guests. Designing is free; sending is billed at checkout, at the price shown on the pricing page, only when you send.

• Your event is yours. The words, photos, and guest lists you bring stay your property; we use them only to run your event.
• Send only to people who expect to hear from you. Velvet Send is for invitations to your own gatherings — not for bulk mail, marketing, or anything unlawful. Accounts used that way may be closed.
• Card designs stay on Velvet Send. They are ours (or our artists’), licensed to you for the invitations you send here.
• The service is young. We work to keep it up and careful, and it is offered as-is while it grows; if something goes wrong with a send, write to us and we will make it right.
